COVENANT HOUSE

September, 2005, marked the completion of the Covenant House project. God used many individuals and businesses to accomplish this daunting endeavor. The project began in September, 2004, with the purchase of a plot of land in Dyer, Indiana. An outpouring of donated labor, materials, money and expertise resulted in the completion of a beautiful home sold for $160,000 profit…$80,000 for both Calvin Christian School and Emmaus Christian School in Guinea, West Africa. Emmaus Christian School is in a challenging situation due to Muslim influence and this gift will bring relief to build a much-needed school building of their own in their community. This effort was supported and organized through Worldwide Christian Schools.
