FUND-RAISING AND GIVING
Calvin Christian School relies on its alumni, parents, grandparents, friends, churches, the Foundation, and local businesses to fund many of the programs that seek to carry out Calvin’s vision for its students. Tuition alone does not support the operating budget of the school and contributions from many and various people and places are key sources of revenue. These gifts continue to display God’s faithfulness and affirm God’s blessing on Calvin Christian School’s ministry.
From memorial and estate gifts to Faith Promise gifts and donations to the annual Walk-a-Thon and Evening for Calvin dinner…each gift is gratefully received and is invested in the lives of God’s children at Calvin.
The Calvin Christian School Foundation was created in 1983 to “receive, accumulate, manage, invest and disburse capital funds and properties entrusted to it and the income therefrom for the exclusive use and benefit of Calvin Christian School and to promote both current and deferred gifts through legacies, trusts, gift annuities and other means.”
Calvin’s Foundation is committed to providing assistance where needed. The Foundation contributes 5% of its total assets on an annual basis to the school’s operating budget.
