TUITION

Calvin Christian School
Tuition Information

The tuition schedule is based on the school budget which is approved by the Society. For more information regarding current tuition costs, please contact Calvin's Recruitment Directors, Cathye Johnson or Angela Oldenkamp. They will be happy to talk with you about the current tuition rates and the opportunities available for you to reduce your tuition costs. Call the school at 708-331-5027 for more information.

Ways to Reduce Your Tuition Costs:

  • Familes that attend one of our Reformed Financial Partner churches receive a donation (per student) given by their church toward their tuition balance.
  • All families are welcome to apply for tuition assistance.*
  • All students benefit from sales at the Harvest Thrift Center, a resale shop specifically designed to help families with tuition reduction.
  • T.R.I.P. (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program) is also available.

Tuition Assistance

  • A Tuition Assistance Fund has been established by the Finance Committee. Money will be collected and retained in this fund for the purpose of distributing tuition assistance to families based on individual family needs.
  • The organization, Christian School Tuition Assistance Service, will be used to help determine how to distribute the tuition assistance funds on a yearly basis.
  • Tuition Assistance Fund applications will be included in the registration packet. The completed application, supporting documents, and a $10.00 fee must be submitted directly to Christian School Tuition Assistance Service for processing.
  • Christian School Tuition Assistance Service will provide a report to the Finance Committee based on applications received. The Finance Committee will determine final amount of assistance to be provided.
  • If assistance is deemed warranted by the Finance Committee, under normal circumstances, a maximum of 25% of a family's tuition cost may be provided from the Tuition Assistance Fund. Similarly, the minimum assistance provided, if the need is established, would be $250.00.
  • Tuition assistance will be provided on a pro-rated monthly basis and may be stopped, at the Finance Committee's discretion, if the family is more than thirty (30) days behind in tuition payments.
