In Pre-K , our students hear and apply God's Word to their lives. Students in pre-K learn through play-based and center based learning. Students spend each day in God’s word, learning bible stories and memory verses. Students learn pre-reading skills by learning letter names, letter sounds, and phonemic awareness skills such as rhyming. Students begin to work on number identification, 1:1 correspondence, and understanding the basic language for math. Students will learn how science and social studies connect to God’s great world. Students participate in all specials classes once a week including, spanish, art, library, gym, and music class. Students also develop social-emotional skills needed to continue to make progress towards future learning through learning cooperative play, following directions, and showing empathy as God’s creation.
