He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Micah 6:8

Throughout the school year, our students give of themselves generously. Among many other subtle acts of kindness and grace, you will also find us:

  • Raking leaves in the neighborhood
  • Singing or Reading with residents at senior living communities
  • Collecting toys and serving at the Christmas Toy Store, on behalf of Restoration Ministries
  • Raising funds for Caminito de Jesus, a Christian school in the Dominican Republic established by a CCS alumnus
  • Collecting for Roseland Christian Ministries food drive
  • Making blankets in our Extended Care Program for Sunday Snacks, Trinity Christian College’s ministry to Chicago’s homeless
  • Putting “Prayer In Action” on the National Day of Prayer, serving our community
  • Volunteering at Feed My Starving Children
  • You will also find our students serving one another as reading and spelling buddies, as crossing guards, opening car doors for students arriving in the morning and assisting with our recycling program. God has called us to love him and our neighbor – and our neighbors are all around us.
